We often get enquiries through the various contact mediums on whether some of our practices and or beliefs are compatible with Christianity. I will try to address the key issues at hand or the most frequently asked questions in this paper. Before I get into explaining certain Klan membership criteria and ritual, I will say that the Brotherhood of Klans, Knights of the Ku Klux Klan is independent of all other Klans, and is an organization that strives for honor and virtue in our membership. We are a traditional sect of the Ku Klux Klan and we make no apology about that.

Firstly, I shall list the key questions in relation to Christianity that we as members of the Ku Klux Klan receive.

-          Isn’t burning a cross satanic?

-          Why doesn’t the Klan accept Jews? Jesus was a Jew right?

-          Why does the Ku Klux Klan hate? The Bible teaches to love our enemies.

-          Why doesn’t the Klan accept homosexuals? My Pastor says God doesn’t mind anymore on that issue.

We will begin by discussing the sacred Ku Klux Klan ceremony of the cross lighting. The lighting of the cross is a truly beautiful Christian practice, which symbolizes the light of Christ. The same symbols can be found on the Methodist Church logo. The lighting of the cross can be tracked back to Scotland in where the Scots used to light crosses to warn their people that enemies were approaching. As the Ku Klux Klan’s heartland is in the South, which was very highly populated by Scots and Irish folk, the Klan implemented that ritual for pride of ancestry. Another example of this is the confederate flag, which was modeled after the St. Andrew’s flag of Scotland.

This next question is a little bit more complicated but I will attempt to address it briefly. The word Jew is no older than a few centuries in our English language. One must ask the question of what that term refers to when we read it in our Bibles. Well it can refer to several things, one being of the tribe of Judah, another a citizen of Judea or even of the religious sect of Judaism. One may ask whether these things are all one in the same? No, they aren’t. You could be Asian and a Judean because you have citizenship in a country doesn’t make you racially of that country. So who are the modern Jews of today? Well let the most orthodox of Jews answer that question for you. They believe that they are a remnant or a small part of the tribe of Judah. Let’s for a minute agree with this. But one must ask the question, what about the other 10 tribes? The Jews have no idea who they are and God doesn’t care about those tribes anymore, he’s only worried about the Jews or Judah according to them. Of course to justify such garbage men would have to start writing Scripture and that is exactly what the Jews did with their numerous works of men including the Babylonian Talmud. The Ku Klux Klan is 100% with the Bible when it rejects Jews as members, would your local Church allow a Jew to be baptized and listed in the records of the Church if he refused to believe in Christ? Of course not! Without dwelling on the complexities of the mixed Jewish race, we will end this reply by saying that the Ku Klux Klan doesn’t accept Anti-Christ’s and never will! Now this next question is one of the most common that we are faced with people who have limited knowledge on what it is exactly that we believe in. I will start by saying the Ku Klux Klan hates no one with the exception of God’s enemies or those who wish to frustrate his cause. It is true the Holy Scriptures tell us that we are to love our enemies and we accept that as Holy Writ handed down from God Himself. However, the Bible never teaches us to love God’s enemies, such a notion is completely blasphemous and absurd. For instance in Psalms 139:19-22 it reads;

19: Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

20: For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

21: Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

22: I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

As members in this Christian Order we accept the whole Bible as Scripture and not just the few verses that we like. We challenge someone to find a Scripture where it says to love God’s enemies; there is no such thing! While on the subject of hate, I must stress that no one in the Ku Klux Klan hates entire races of people. We love our own people and work for their interests! Hate is no requirement for membership!

The Klan doesn’t accept homosexuals because they are living in direct conflict with the word of God. Yes, it’s true, over the years people are becoming more sensitive and caring and what have you, but is God changing too?

For the sake of Christians who don’t like using the Old Testament, we have used a New Testament reference. So, no matter how much we change, or think we understand something, God’s word will not change nor get softer because we got softer! However as Romans very clearly points out God made a natural law, and I think we can all agree that nature is about reproduction and development, it’s a little hard to do that when you can’t have children and stuck with sexually transmitted diseases!

26: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

As far as we’re concerned this is a dead issue, homosexuality is immoral and can never be accepted by anyone who reads and understands the true word of the Lord.
